NHFAPA is seeking an Executive Director

The New Hampshire Foster and Adoptive Parent Association is seeking an Executive Director. This newly created position will serve as the public point of contact in our revitalized fundraising, outreach, and advocacy efforts.

NH-FAPA is a 9 member organization of state-certified foster and adoptive parents, relative caregivers, and other stakeholders. Our mission is to improve the lives of foster children by responding to the needs of those who serve them. We do this through support groups, fundraising, and advocacy at all levels of government. The new Executive Director will seek out and harness the volunteer energy of our members, secure new avenues of funding, and be the Association’s representative to government officials and other decision makers. This is a unique position for someone with strong leadership experience, business savvy, and the ability to work independently. Ideally, our new Executive Director will possess knowledge of and passion for the foster/adoption system. This is a flexible full-time position that will report to the Board of Directors.
