Wendy's owners make generous donation to NHFAPA

A major donation was made Thursday to support foster families in New Hampshire, thanks to the generosity of Granite Staters.
Wendy's owners, in collaboration with New Hampshire Chronicle's "Home at Last" series, donated $57,923 to the New Hampshire Foster and Adoptive Parent Association.
Wendy's customers helped raise funds by purchasing coupon books. All the proceeds go to this incredible program that benefits foster families.
“It means that we continue to function for another year. We continue to help the 900 foster children in the state,” Mariellen Mackay, of the New Hampshire Foster and Adoptive Parent Association, said.
“It's something we firmly believe in, everybody in the organization, from the top to the bottom. So, we get behind the effort to raise money, and we then we kick in a little extra at the end,” Lawrence Wiley, a Wendy’s franchisee, said.
The program has raised more than $300,000 for the New Hampshire Foster and Adoptive Parent Association.
